Terry A. Fox
Terry A. Fox, CPM®, is a licensed real estate broker (#01143646) with over 25 years of property management experience. Before founding the company in the spring of 2005 he was a partner and property manager of a large regional management company specializing in association and residential properties. In a previous job Terry served as the Vice President for Marketing, Business Development and Operations for another large regional residential property management company. Prior to that he was the owner of a management consulting and training firm called The Management Edge.
Terry moved to Fresno in early 1987 after serving over 20 years in the US Army in a variety of command and management positions throughout the United States and overseas. He retired as a Major in February 1987. Terry is originally from Southern California.
Terry has a Masters of Science in Business Administration degree from Boston University and an undergraduate degree in business from the University of Nebraska. He has been awarded the designation of CERTIFIED PROPERTY MANAGER® from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) and received the Property Supervisor of the Year Award for 1998 from the California Apartment Association.
Terry is active in the community. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Fresno Area Chamber of Commerce and is the past Treasurer and Board Member of the Fresno Area CrimeStopper organization. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the California Apartment Association – Fresno Division. He is a member of the IREM chapter and previously served as the chapter President. Terry is a graduate of Leadership Fresno, Class 10, and served on the Leadership Fresno Steering Committee and Alumni Board of Directors. He was awarded the Alumni of the Year in 2003. Over the past few years he has been an active participant and fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in their Team in Training Program as a runner, cyclist, and triathlete.
Chris Darling is a licensed real estate agent (#00958933) with over 28 years' experience in residential and commercial property management. She joined Fox Property Management in May 2009 and serves as Senior Property Manager. In this role she supervises the leasing department and is responsible for the move-ins and move-outs of tenants and the "turning" of the unit to make it ready for the next resident. She will coordinate with our vendors to ensure work is scheduled and completed. Chris will also supervise the showing of vacant properties and processing applications. She has been awarded the CALIFORNIA CERTIFIED RESidENTIAL MANAGER (CCRM) designation from the California Apartment Association and was awarded the Property Supervisor of the Year for 2014 from the California Apartment Association. Prior to joining Fox Property Management she worked for one of the area’s largest property management firms, establishing their single family division. Before moving to Fresno Chris lived in Sacramento and worked for one of Sacramento’s largest property management companies. As a Senior Property Manager she oversaw 400 + single family homes.
Originally from Los Angeles, Chris has lived in the Fresno area for over 15 years with her husband and four children.
Laura Solorio has almost 23 years’ experience in residential property management. She is in the process of obtaining her real estate sales agent license. Laura joined Fox Property Management in March 2006 and serves as Administrative Assistant in the Leasing Department. In this role she helps process the applications and does many of the move-ins and move-outs. Prior to joining Fox Property Management she was the Resident Manager for a 244 unit apartment community. In that role she was responsible for all aspects of leasing, maintenance, bookkeeping, and customer relations for the entire property. Laura has been awarded the CALIFORNIA CERTIFIED RESidENTIAL MANAGER (CCRM) designation from the California Apartment Association.
Laura enjoys spending time with family and friends in the Fresno area. She is originally from Flint, Michigan.
Maria Maynor joined Fox Property Management in July 2009. She serves as the Company’s Maintenance Coordinator. In this role she is responsible for coordinating all maintenance and repairs needed at our rental properties. She is the interface between our residents and our vendors. She is available by phone or email. Prior to joining Fox Property Management Maria was in the Army as a mobilized member of the US Army Reserves. She proudly served as a Reservist for over 26 years in many stateside assignments. Maria is also a full-time student at the University of Phoenix. She is working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Business management. She expects to complete her studies in 2017.
In "civilian life" Maria has extensive experience as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant. Maria adds dual English/Spanish capability to our customer services. She is originally from Sanger and now lives in Fresno with her husband and two children.
Shirley Wells is a licensed real estate agent (#01518499) with over 10 years of real estate experience. She previously worked with one of the largest real estate companies in Fresno selling residential and commercial properties before deciding to make the move to residential property management. Shirley joined Fox Property Management in June 2014 and serves as a leasing agent. In this role she takes rental calls, schedules showings and processes applications. She also assists with property inspections, and tenant move-ins and move-outs. She is in the process of obtaining her California Certified Residential Manager (CCRM) certificate from the California Apartment Association.
Shirley is active in the community. She has served as past secretary to the Bullard High School baseball Dugout Club, and has volunteered at Malloch and Gibson Schools, Baird Middle School, and Bullard High School as a teachers' aid and in other capacities.
Shirley and her husband have owned and operated a local auto repair shop for almost 24 years.
Shirley is originally from the Bay Area and currently lives in Fresno. She enjoys cycling, walking, playing tennis, and spending time with her husband and three children.
Clarissa Hernandez recently joined Fox Property Management as the “voice of Fox Property Management” as an Administrative Assistant. In this role she is responsible for answering the phones and directing the caller to the proper staff member. She meets and greets all visitors to our office and accepts rent payments. Clarissa is also a full-time student at University of Phoenix. She is working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and is due to graduate in the spring of 2017. Prior to joining Fox Property Management Clarissa was in the retail industry.
Clarissa enjoys spending time with family and friends in the Fresno area. She is originally from Fowler.
David Perez recently joined the Fox Property Management team. In his new position as Controller, David brings decades of accounting experience to the table. Detailed and precise, with a smile, is the best way to describe his attitude. David is new to the property management industry, but is looking forward to learning more and more each day. Prior to joining Fox Property Management, David was in the staffing industry for twenty years. In his spare time, David enjoys the occasional home improvement project. His To-Do List is interminable; having purchased a home that was neglected by the previous owner. Fortunately, David likes to watch HGTV and DIY, which offer copious ideas for future projects. His favorite pastimes include reading, writing, dining out with friends and family and traveling by cruise ship.
